Blane Hill (Owner)

Driven by a pursuit of excellence and a respect for tradition, I operate at the intersection of heritage and innovation. My passion for firearms isn’t just about the mechanics; it’s about a forward-thinking approach to the industry—always looking for the next advancement in precision and performance.

I am a firm advocate for the “quiet professional” lifestyle, with a deep-seated appreciation for suppressor technology and its role in responsible shooting. When the sun goes down, you’ll find me in the field. Coyote and night hunting are more than hobbies for me; they are a test of patience, technology, and skill.

Above all, I am guided by my faith in the Lord, acknowledging that every talent I possess and every breath I take is a gift from Him. I strive to reflect that gratitude in everything I build, hunt, and share.

Ellis James Hill (The Possum Slayer)

At just 10 years old, Ellis James is already a seasoned fixture in the Cerakote shop. He isn’t just watching from the sidelines; he’s a hands-on contributor with a natural eye for detail. A true mechanical prodigy, he reached a major milestone at age eight when he successfully built his first AR-15 from the ground up.

When the shop lights go down, he’s ready for the next mission. Whether he’s helping prep projects or joining me in the field for night hunts, Ellis James brings a forward-thinking attitude and a passion for the craft that rivals the pros. He’s the next generation of the industry, fueled by hard work and a love for the outdoors.

Bill Whalley

Bill Whalley joined our Pro Staff with a “ready-for-anything” mindset. A seasoned handyman by trade and a dedicated coyote hunter by choice, Bill understands the importance of gear that holds up under pressure. He is a staple during our field demonstrations, where he helps showcase the durability and performance of our Cerakote finishes in real-world conditions.

Bill is the first person to step up when the shop is humming at max capacity, ensuring that our workflow stays smooth and our quality stays sharp. His hands-on experience in the field and his technical problem-solving skills make him an invaluable asset to our team and our customers.

Trevor Brown

An avid deer hunter and dedicated outdoorsman, Trevor brings a wealth of field experience to our team. Known for his patience in the stand and his sharp eye during our night coyote hunts, Trevor is a firm believer in the gear we build. He plays a key role in testing our latest equipment, ensuring that our customers receive tools that have been proven in the toughest conditions. We are proud to have his expertise and his passion for the hunt representing our brand.

Kelley Dixon

If you want to know if our equipment works, just ask Kelly Dixon. Kelly was the first person to ever trust us with a project, and he’s been putting our work to the ultimate test ever since. He provides the kind of honest, “boots-on-the-ground” feedback that allows us to stay ahead of the industry.

A specialist in the turkey woods, Kelly is currently one bird away from finishing his Archery Grand Slam. Taking on that challenge with a bow requires a level of patience and precision that matches our own shop standards. From spring mornings in the timber to testing our gear’s durability year-round, Kelly represents the heart of our brand: rugged, reliable, and driven by the hunt.

Will Moseley

“Reliability isn’t just a feature—it’s a requirement.”
When Will Moseley made his run as a finalist on American Idol, the world saw his talent. When he’s back home, we see his passion for the outdoors. We’re honored to have Will as part of the Alpha Cerakote family. He hunts with us, he pushes our custom builds to the limit on coyote stands, and he knows exactly what it means to rely on your equipment.
We apply that same “Idol” standard to every project that comes through our shop.

Whether it’s Will’s personal rifle or your favorite sidearm, we treat every build like it’s going to be used in the toughest conditions imaginable.
